Apparel Company Gains $200K to Fuel Canadian Retail Growth
Sallyport Commercial Finance is pleased to announce a $200,000 Accounts Receivable (AR) factoring facility for a growing lifestyle sportswear and apparel company expanding its presence in the Canadian retail market.
With growing retail orders and customers operating on standard 45–60 day payment terms, the company needed additional working capital to bridge the gap between shipping products to retailers and receiving payment. Sallyport’s factoring facility provides the liquidity needed to support ongoing sales while allowing the business to continue pursuing new retail opportunities.
The company is focused on building a leading lifestyle apparel business, expanding its customer base and developing long-term relationships with major retail partners. As sales grow, having access to working capital is essential to keeping inventory and order fulfillment moving without having to wait for outstanding invoices to be paid.
The $200,000 facility will primarily be used to fund the working capital gap created by the company’s 45–60 day receivables cycle, giving the business greater flexibility as it continues to grow its Canadian retail sales.
A key factor in the company’s decision to partner with Sallyport was our ability to provide financing in Canada despite the business having a U.S.-based ownership team. Combined with a competitive structure and flexible approach, Sallyport was able to provide a financing solution aligned with the company’s needs and growth plans.
Dean Winter, VP of Business Development at Sallyport Commercial Finance, said:
“I’m excited to see the company break further into the Canadian retail market and build on the momentum they’ve created. They have a strong opportunity ahead of them, and I can’t wait to watch the business grow and be there to support them along the way.”
As the company continues to build its retail presence, Sallyport’s AR factoring facility provides the working capital foundation to help support its next stage of growth.
At Sallyport, we’re proud to support growing businesses with the flexible funding and responsive partnership they need to turn opportunities into sustainable growth.
