Sallyport Commercial Finance is delighted to announce the successful funding of a $5,000,000 combined Accounts Receivable and Inventory Finance facility for a growing kitchen cutlery company poised to expand its wholesale operations and direct to consumer growth.

Referred to Sallyport through a trusted broker relationship, the company was seeking a financing partner that could provide greater borrowing availability than its existing options. As demand for its products continued to rise, the business required a more flexible working capital solution to support seasonal fluctuations and accelerate growth.

Unlike traditional lending structures, the client needed a tailored facility that provides seasonal over-advance capacity and removes customer concentration constraints, allowing it to maximize liquidity against its highly creditworthy customer portfolio. This additional flexibility would unlock significantly more working capital, enabling the business to capitalize on growing wholesale demand without cash flow constraints.

Sallyport’s customized funding solution delivered exactly that. By combining Accounts Receivable and Inventory Finance into a tailored facility, the company gained the liquidity needed to increase inventory, support larger customer orders and confidently pursue its next stage of growth.

The client selected Sallyport over competing lenders because of our ability to provide substantially greater funding availability through a flexible structure designed around the realities of their business. With a seasonal over-advance and no concentration limits on qualifying customers, Sallyport was able to lend more and create a financing solution that aligned with the company’s ambitious growth plans.

Co-Founder of the business commented;

“This financing marks an important milestone for the company. From day one, our vision has been to reimagine kitchen cutlery by making thoughtfully designed, premium-quality kitchen knives accessible to more consumers. We’ve proven there is strong demand for that approach, and our growing nationwide retail presence reinforces the strength of our brand and the opportunity ahead. The Sallyport team and Patrick, were instrumental in coming up with a catered approach for an enhanced capital structure that gives us the flexibility to accelerate that growth, expand our wholesale footprint, and meet increasing consumer demand.”

Patrick Zazueta, VP Sales at Sallyport:

“It has been a pleasure working with Jared and the team, whose passion for the business and commitment to the brand’s vision are evident. With strong leadership and a clear growth strategy, the company is well positioned to expand its market presence and continue building meaningful brand recognition in the years ahead.”

Looking ahead, the business aims to become an even stronger household name in innovative kitchen cutlery by delivering high-quality knives at accessible price points. With the right financial foundation in place, the company is well positioned to expand its wholesale presence and continue meeting increasing customer demand.

At Sallyport Commercial Finance, we understand that every growing business has unique funding requirements. By taking a relationship-driven approach and structuring facilities around our clients’ operational needs, we provide the working capital businesses need to seize opportunities, strengthen cash flow and achieve long-term success.
